Exempt Development Certificates

Exempt Development Certificate is not a mandatory planning approval in NSW. However, Private Building Certifiers provide Exempt Development approvals for all types of projects to ensure our clients that the proposed development complies with the Building Code of Australia and the Exempt provisions of the SEPP (Exempt and Complying Development) code. Exempt development certificates are of significant assistance for insurance and asset protection purposes.

Crown Certificates

Private Building Certifiers provide Crown Certificates for building works on Crown land in NSW. The Crown Certificate approval is to ensure the building has been designed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia and the legislative requirements. Crown Certificates are available for our government clients.

Principal Certifying Authority Services

Town Planning Consultancy

The planning system in NSW can often be complex with numerous legislation and planning instruments applying to any one development site. Our staff have specific knowledge and experience with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act & Regulations and specific State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs) - Exempt and Complying Development Code, Local Environmental Plans (LEPs) and Development Control Plans (DCPs).
